Singapore ugly commuter in SMRT

I just wonder why do some of those able bodied young men could have the heart to see a pregnant woman standing right in front of them and yet they do nothing to offer any assistance to those who are really in need.
Usually some commuters will either pretend to doze off or will pretend to see nothing while occupying the priority seat during the peak hours.
However this is one example where this malay commuter could still stare with eyes wide open at the pregnant woman standing right in front of him and not offering his priority seat which he has been comfortably sitting there.
Just look at how inconsiderate this person is!!

This would be from personal experience. I do the night shift so I know exactly how it feels to be so tired on a train that all you want to do is close your eyes.

When faced with the choice to sit in a chair which is marked "Priority" NOT "RESERVED" as you previously stated, I often go for the option when being very tired of taking the seat instead of some other person who needs it less then I do at that time.
