I now live right in the neighborhood that was hit. My building an all surrounding homes are less than 10 years old. Nothing was standing after that.

My wife was lucky to survive this quake while living in Japan.She has shown me photographs and recounted the events many times,but only after seeing this brief footage,have i become aware of the severity.God rest the souls of the thousands that perished.
