@kmlo1984 Perhaps you were asking the wrong questions. This guy has a big ego which is typical for any person who's been abandoned by society, and you should let him elaborate about himself as much as he like, instead of pushing your way to question him for the information that you want. Only after his egoistic appetite is being satisfied that you will be able to get what you want from him. Simple psychology.

One of the most amazing things is that Mr. Kamaguchi spoke English! I had a very very hard time to find anybody who was willing to speak English with me in Shinjuku. Not even a branch manager at a bank!

Thank you for your insightful clip. I deeply appreciate it. Most homeless that I see in my city have had no education and therefore could not find work. Many are addicted to drugs. It is interesting to compare the differences in life stories that lead to the same fate: homelessness. Western societies must find a way to deal with this.

hi Linuxrules04, i m also linux user. Ubuntu mostly. Thanks for ur comment, Jap Homeless are different as they mostly are just being bad luck or under employed. though some are losers. but they can manage their life well, the concept of dignity villgae has been well implemented 10-20yrs ahead of ahead ò western homeless community, I make thí documentary not showing their hardship, but showing their life as it's. it might be even a solution to get away from the jap society.

Did you ever see Mr. Kawaguchi again?

Yes, after 18months, I found him in Shinjuku Park, dress like a homeless and denies his identity and soon disappeared. Never see him again, even he promised to meet me the next day.
