I see that when theya re talking about sleep they put the baby on their belly and that is a no-no. Put a baby to sleep on their backs this is likely to reduce the chance os SIDS (sudden infant death sydrome). Besides that I think this was good to go.

yeah that kind of confused me. i wonder why they put the baby on his belly?

The reason that they put the child on their stomach is because it's an old video and at that time it was commun sense that if the baby trew up it wouldn't chock. Now even after long years they can't explain whey the SIDS symptons is lower when the baby is sleeping on their back but it is. In a couple of years of research we will probably find out the reason.

Part of the Lamze program is for the father to experience all that he can that the mother does. Seems to be only symbolic. Putting the baby on his stomach alot would be dangerous to me.
Doctors still consider it common sense to put the baby- after feeding. On its stomach the baby's food will settle. After the food settling it is safe to put the baby on its back. SIDS has nothing to do with this- SIDS is what doctors do not know. By the way- most mothers I have watched hold their baby up until the food is settled. The father or others can hold the baby while the mother cleans up or whatever.
