Netrebko performs with the best musicians,and Gergiev also!you don't know anything about music becuase you judge by the appearance.Everybody says that Villazon inherited Domingo's voice!so ther's no way Villazon sings ugly!...It's a shame that you dont understand russian to realize about the compliments and opinions of Gergiev and Netrebko about Villazon.

Curious. Are you a beginning singer? Many very fine singers throughout history have sung in such a manner. It has to do with maintaining a low larnyx, returning to a low breath connection, "budding" of tone, line, vocal spin, and emotional "shaping". If done correctly as she does here, it is a healthy way of singing, beautiful, indicative of an understanding of an "old school Italinate" vocal method, AND will make for longevity. Only if it becomes a "scoop" or a "cluck" will it become a problem.
