i need to download something from a website whitch litrally came out yesterday. It has no virus,Trojan reports on it yet but i need it ASAP. I dont have an Anti-Virus but planning on downloading one after this. But if their are trojins the ani-virus doesn't really help they mostly focus one viruses. You have a 1 in 1000 chance it will protect you from trojens any ideas on what i could do?

He has a lot of great advice and people would have fewer problems if they followed it. Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge with us!

Thanks! I also find that avoiding "Free Offers" is a good thing.eg.- free first consultation to a chiro and then getting conned into signing up for a year of unnecessary appointments.Another is people offering further discount for something purchased in a shop and then convieniently forgetting to enter it at the cash register. To catch fish you have to use tasty "free" bait.

Well...in my opinion, there are better options. I think norton eats to much resources and never liked windows products that much. But that's me.
I don't know if thinking about paying for anti-virus or not, but if you do, I suggest you try Bit Defender, Kaspersky or even Webroot. Run a trial version to see if you like them.
If you chose an Internet Security Suite you'll be able to replace those 3 you have in one go.
