We found & bought trap recommended by Animal Shelter. - This is the squirrel trap that the local Shelter said they use to catch kittens. They took our phone # and were supposed to call us back and loan us a trap, but they never did, so we called around until we found a place to buy one. As you can see it worked on the first try... although it does look like Little Ninja kitten was only barely heavy enough to activate the trap.

We thank Valley Cats rescue for finding these kittens a new home together! If you would like to adopt kittens or cats please visit the Petfinder website.

  • Lol, I got scared when the trap closed :D

  • @d3st88 Totally -- that *SLAM* is loud and sudden!

  • Eve and I were worrying about the little Ninja up in that hot attic over the weekend, this is a major success, major kudos for following through on this.

  • @TonyElka I recently read online that mother-cats keep close to their kittens to try to keep their temp around 103 degrees, so I guess having their start in that hot attic was actually to their benefit!

  • almost same exact trap I bought..except a little taller for full grown rats, I mean Cats,,,it's worthless, have tried every trick in the book,,,the cats go in and eat, leave happy and come back the next day,,,only thing it has caught me is a stupid shit possum..

  • lol, I freaked out when the cage closed.

  • Do you know how old little ninja was when you caught him/ her? I managed to catch four cats with the squirrel trap from Havahart -- the first one was 11 months old, the other three were three months old.

  • Yay! Now the little kitten doesn't have to be a savage attic dweller, but instead live a rich and civilized life in the rest of the house!
