Winterville stage has a resemblance of the exterior of Shadow Moses Island in the original MGS. The exit of the stage somehow resembles the shadow moses stage for Smash Bros Brawl.

Why is it that those monkeys never bother to look under the crates in the base?

@Yugimuto2 Because in Snake vs Monkey you play as Solid Snake, it's just that he looks like Big Boss cause... lazyness of the programmers... or maybe something similar to that...

@NimbusHydragyrum Like if you cant get Dave to play Snake, OR Eiding to play as Campbell, then its really not that great.

@edude0j9 actually, if you go to Snake vs Monkey in MGS3, you play as Big Boss, under Campbell's orders to capture the monkeys.
It's funny though, the game (MGS3) is all about avoiding Time Paradoxes, like when you die in that game, it's considered a Time Paradox right?
well how can someone like Campbell, who Big Boss doesnt even MEET until the 1970s, command Big Boss in 1964, to catch monkeys? That itself, is a Time Paradox, don't you think?

@Yugimuto2 In reality, it's Solid Snake, not Naked Snake (I know it's confussing since he looks LIKE Naked Snake), if he would be Naked Snake, then Coronel Campbell wouldn't be there in the first place, it would be Major Zero, but yeah you are right, it's a shame they couldn't get David to voice Snake.
