R&D department of Robotus company (http://www.robotus.lt/en ), has several years of experience in development measurement and control systems as well as software solutions. Our latest work is automatic robotic trowel, based on common ride-on trowel. In near future this robot may replace humans in arduous and tiresome job of concrete floor finishing. One may choose area for trowelling just by walking around it or by using dedicated software on his/her PC. Then robotic trowel will get the job done with no human participation. Because of precise and easily portable laser based navigation system it does not take much time to start using robot in new outdoor or indoor working areas.

  • Obviously the prototype isn’t very fast and it still cannot fully replace human operator. However, semi / fully automated trowels are the future of the floor finishing and we are working hard to bring that future closer. It should be mentioned that this control system developed by our engineers can be adapted to control any kind of automotive machinery used at construction site.

You can check our new video of automated trowel in construction site environment (power trowel 2).

  • I want to know the cost of the machine and I'm very interested in where I can buy .... thanks

  • Where's the AMIGOS?

  • driller1@live.ca

  • Retarded, slow and complicated

  • waste of time and money my friend. Why you ask.

    A. it cant trowel up to a wall, so you need men to do this by hand

    B. it cant feel if there is a bit of a bump or dip that requires a skilled operator to pass several times filling or levelling.

    C. a skilled operator is constantly checking the floor as he passes to look for imperfections as the polishing process takes place

    D. if your using steel fibres and you have some sticking out of the surface a skilled oprator will jump off and snip em

  • is this equipment called power trowelling

in my country we call it hellicopeter

  • Hope it goes faster than that or else you'd be losing the floor! It is nice though!

  • how much??

  • good stuff :)
