Mario Kart Wii - Dec 20 08 C

These are a pair of Balloon Battles held right after the end of the Danswich Cup. I might as well upload them. A lot of people just outright leave the room after the races, when in truth, there's almost always at least a few spars afterward.

Battle #1
GCN Cookie Land
Something didn't feel quite right when I was playing this. Looking at the statistics as they went, I was getting hit more than the other players on the Red Team put together, and for some time, I was scoring more points than the others too. It seemed as though I became the center of attention in this battle.

Battle #2
Delfino Pier
Geez, I ended this battle with 0 points. Whatever wrath was laid upon me in GCN Cookie Land, it was REALLY done to me here. Of course, it was my own error to go down into the area as it was flooding, but it seems two of the Blue Team members who pursued me into the warehouse also got caught in the drink.

I never knew the water level rises up when the bell starts tolling the second time. I guess it's because:

1. I don't do lots of Mario Kart Wii battle with my friends.

2. I always stick around the rooftop of the building when the bridge is lowered.

At 2 minutes left, the doors to the warehouse open, and at 1:30, the water starts rising. I knew the water would submerge the warehouse soon, but I didn't realize how soon--and then I reaized that two-thirds of the Blue Team were after me.

To unlock Rosalina, you need to either get a 1-Star ranking or higher on every Mirror Cup OR win 50 races with a Mario Galaxy save file.

6:21 was pretty hilarious. Both teams dropped a Bob-omb in the same spot.

Those were some great battles. I like Cookie Land because it's so small. You can almost guarantee the battles there will be chaotic. Delfino Pier forces you to move around which is why I like it. Both of my picks were chosen. That was pretty neat.

I was wondering why there were so few people in the dry area of the pier. Now I know. You and my two teammates were too busy drowning. =P

This level has actually started to grow on me. All I do is drift around the inside portion and rack up the points...for Balloon Battle anyway.

haha these baloon battles were fun, i just went on a points spree near the end on cookie land

It was funny when we all went in the water, luckily for our team Hook got 9 points which helped us win
