On Saint Patricks Day 2012 I drove around the state of RI collecting light pollution data from various locations for the citizen science project, GLOBE at NIGHT. I setup my camera in the car and recorded my progress as I traveled from Providence to Beaver Tail stopping at Ladd Observatory in Providence, India Point Park in Providence, Mackerel Cove in Jamestown, and Beaver Tail in Jamestown.
SQM = Sky Quality Meter. It is the device I used to measure the brightness of the night sky in magnitudes per square arcsecond at each location.

Camera: Canon S95 (CHDK) with Intervalometer
ISO: 800
Auto Exposure
F/2
936 images at 3 second interval
