Working House Fire Quickly Knocked By Gary Engine 12

Crews were dispatched to a reported house fire in the 2500 block of Marshalltown Dr. a second call gave an address of 2500 block of East 22nd ave, the second address was correct. Engine 12's crew pulled a line and quickly knocked the fire without incident. Nobody was injured at the vacant house fire

@Cetronia3 They brought an attack line in, knocked it down, and then brought the tools in for overhauling and hitting hotspots. When going in with a charged line you don't carry tools also. The guy on the pipe knocks it down for the guys with the tools

next fire you get take all your manuals and notebooks and text books and throw them in and see if all that knowledge puts the fire out... good old fashion experience and a little crazy is all you need to be a good firefighter... its all the same, put the wet stuff on the red stuff...nice job guys...

That was an impressive attack. They definitely have trained for these things. however during overhaul, 4:31 Specifically why are they not wearing SCBA's? a few are but that stuff is dangerous so breathe in. Even if you make it through the co poisoning just think about the carcinogens? Im all for kicking ass and being very competent and skilled at your job, but im also for a healthy retirement. Just something I take in mind. Captured a lot of stuff and over all a Great video!

He just runs up and kicks it, what the hell? Someone should report this to the town/city, thats one way to kill yourself / others.. It would of been different if he checked it first but he just runs up to it.
