Title: Touhou Koumakyou ~ Embodiment of the Scarlet Devil 3D ver
Version: 1.00d
With a few MMD models and DirectX libraries, we have for you the Embodiment of the Scarlet Devil... in 3D!
Everything is in 3D now and instead of a 2D plane for movement, we're thrown into a cube. The bullet patterns are pretty much the same just converted into a 3D form.
This was my first run of this game I did with my normal controller. First run of the game which I 1cc'd using the default settings, 8 lives and 3 bombs per life. This would be my 3rd attempt at the game. I changed to the chibi models for the sake of I feel they look a bit better and it makes it slightly easier to see.
Comments so far...
This game is awesome. A 3D bullet hell shooting game... awesome. 3D makes it ridiculously difficult to tell how far things are from you however. The color of the bullet matters so much in this. Some colors stand out more and are more powerful and bold meaning that it is harder to see the depth of a bullet. Fire sprites are lame. Would be nice if they were changed because you can't see anything through them. Knives are also a problem in terms of visibility because of how flat they are.
Anyways, overall though, this is awesome.

Those bullets... so hard to see... D:
That, and the way you move around in a sphere with the enemy at the center is a bit weird. I think it should be more like if you had 3D arrow keys; two move right and left, two move up and down, two move forward and back. That may just be me, though. And I'm sure they had their reasons for programming it this way instead.

@Squawkers23 You can move up, down, left, right, forward and backwards. I just never move forward and backwards because I find it harder to see things. Just as long as you stay in that nicely outlined white cube that you can't really see in the heat of battle. =D
You can also choose to lock onto the nearest enemy or not to. For bosses, I just lock on since it makes them easier to hit considering how hard is it to hit them in the first place.
