UCF Film Portfolio Submission ("The Briefcase" & "Coexist")

This is my video portfolio for the UCF undergraduate film school admissions.

The First thing is my most recent short, titled "The Breifcase" I wrote, directed, filmed, and edited the short. Follwoing that is a coexistence commercial that i filmed, and edited. Then there is a shrot preview reel of things i've filmed, edited, and directed. The film clips in the reel are "Oasis", "Wrench", and "The Breifcase".

that coexist commercial was great. what program did you use to edit that?

We edited in Final Cut. A friend of mine made the 3d model of earth using after effects i believe. Not too sure though, i haven't dabbled much into 3d.

Thank you! someone else finnally thought of that. We all said that after we finished making it. lol. It was inspired by old film noirs/24/the departed.

that kid with the hair, I swear he's in every student film these days. damn talented too. you guys have access to some really great talent. I like the story and you did a really good job with the continuity. I have found that with black and white films like this its crazy hard to keep lights from blowing out the highlights. White walls, white shirt, white sheets don't make it any better (not a huge deal, but something to keep in mind)

Yeah, he's our best actor. Damn funny gu too, he's makes most of the comedies we do funny. Great improv actor. I kinda like over exposing shots a little, but i see where you going with the whites and stuff. Some shots were a little dark, but we shot this in 5 hours, so we were in a rush.
