Marty is one of the best ever. I didn't know that he wrote this song. I have posted this song, sung by my son, Wade Hawthorne, to YouTube. Other than Marty the original, I believe Wade does the best ever. Thanks for posting this.

I was a teenager when this came out. I'm in my 60's now and it still gives me a chill. No one has come close to Marty's singing of this classic. Marty was one of the genuine good guys. It's a big loss that he's gone, while so sad that his song has come true. Thanks for sharing this.
