My Choice 182 - Enya: Only Time (Megalithic Temples Malta)

"Only Time" is a song by Irish singer Enya, first released in 2000.

The song was also featured in the soundtrack of the motion picture Sweet November. To date, "Only Time" is Enya's biggest solo hit in the United States, where it peaked at #10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and #1 on the adult contemporary chart.

In September 2001, after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, a New Yorker released a Macromedia Flash presentation with a collection of news photos from the attacks and their victims, and "Only Time" was incorporated to this flash. The Flash presentation spread rapidly over the internet as a chain e-mail, and became something of an unofficial theme of peace and remembrance of the attacks. Thus, causing it to eventually lead the song to receive heavy airplay once again, on radio.The Megalithic Temples of the Maltese islands are on the prestigious World Heritage Sites list, but a few people know about these prehistoric free-standing stone structures in the world which are much older than the Pyramids of Egypt and Stonehenge.

The Temples are 4000 to 6000 years old.
