I read some of the other comments and that is what happened to my Mosrite amp. Many years ago someone else was playing it pretty hard with a keyboard and it started smoking and quit.Has been in a closet ever since.

@fishyfish235 "On Stage Encore" is The Ventures live album from their 1967 Japan tour. It was originally a red vinyl lp only available in Japan and difficult to get in the U.S. It was later released on CD in the U.K. on the SFM label and was fairly easy to find in the U.S. as an import.

Thanks for the reply. I bought it many years ago along with a real nice Mosrite guitar as the guy that sold them had bought them both new together. It was post Ventures and I believe it was near the end of the production of Mosrite guitars. The amp is not currently working but I am going to see if the bass player in my band can fix it.I think the output transisters blew.It was not a great sounding amp but not terrible either. The guitar is killer though.

I have a Mosrite amp that is somewhat different. It just says Mosrite and has 2 channels, reverb, tremelo and FUZZ rite.It has 1 15" Jensen.

@kynyrdskynyrd Yours would likely be a real Mosrite amp and they're equally as rare if not more rare. The one I'm playing has the Mosrite name only because The Ventures wanted it on their amp (to match their Mosrite guitars and because they owned Mosrite distribution). They paid Semie Mosely I think 5000 clams for the license to put "Mosrite" on the amp. The amp was actually made by a consumer electronics company in the mid-west called Award.

whats the name of the song at the begining?
cigsareback 11 months ago
@cigsareback The tune at the beginning is "Diamond Head" written by Danny Hamilton (from the T-Bones and had hits with Hamilton, Joe Frank and Reynolds in the '70's).
