@Sparklygal81 Ricky was never underated, No.1 records all over the world TV, movies altho he never came to uk in his prime, he had a string of hit records, and was very popular..Time magazine made him no.1 male for 3 consecative years, leaving Elvis at no. 2...By the time he reached his 21st birthday he sold more records than any other artist, that record still stands today...

To everyone who is comparing this version to Fabian's...sorry Fabian's is not even close..and I actually do like Fabian....sorry he is not Ricky Nelson...this is a great song....great arrangement...GREAT SONG!!...if you want to listen to Fabian, try his "Abraham, Martin and John"...that's his great song!

Clearly the best version of the song. Aside from Rick Nelson's amazing voice, The Jordanaires and James Burton make this version a lot better than the other two.

I just listened to Fabian's version and when I hear Ricky singing this number I still believe that his version has something over Fabain. It comes from the heart and I do believe it's the music and harmonizing that set Fabian and Ricky apart....Yep those background vocals make this version all the more meaningful; to my ears anyway and yes I do have the headphones connected.
