Tanglewood TW170 AS Review

I have just sold this guitar, but put together this brief review beforehand.

The TW170 is part of Tanglewood's Premier range and is in my opininion one of their most versatile and best value guitars. With a solid spruce top and solid mahogany back, it plays and sounds like an all-solid guitar.

For a guitar in its price range, it has outstanding tone and responsiveness and really lends itself to fingerstyle work.

This guitar seems to record best with a pair of large diaphragm condenser microphones (I use a pair of Rode NT1-A's), so this video, recorded using my Zoom Q3HD, doesn't really do it justice.

This is definitely a guitar to consider if you're on a limited budget.
