I dont see how your first sentence connects with "why can't we just worship Christ for who he is and what he's done."
I dont see anything wrong with churches looking to other churches to see how they worship if they are doing it because they want to do it better or be more effective. I mean, in a way dont we all mimick the way the disciples went about ministry and church?

Greenbelter123 if when people is into the attitude of worship, don't look for a certain singer or people and instead fix your eyes upon Jesus. A true Christian in heart doesn't judge or condemn fellow Christian for that is the work of the enemy to condemn. In Christ there is no condemnation. God bless you and may He reveal Himself to you where you will be able to worship Him in songs not the singer.

I think is a more than a little judgmental to say they are not worshiping Christ. Do you know their hearts? They don't sound or look at all like hillsong. It worries me when people like yourself assume that people are doing worship in a certain style just to 'copy' another church. Leading a church in worship is more than a style my friend.

Its like a mini Hillsongs. It worries me the way churches try to mimick other churches, why can't cant we just worship Christ for who he is and what he's done.
