I tried this and found too many don't fit in the CD holder. I went to an 8.5"x5.5" notebook with the sheet holders. They fit in there just find, and the book is easy to transport.

Another idea instead of using double sided tape inside ~~ a piece of sticky backed magenetic strips would hold your dies in place inside of the case...
