@PhocusVideo Once your a sailor are you pretty much always on a ship? Or are you on land most of the times?

Very interesting! However, I am a bit puzzled about the many different Uniforms worn: The dark grey Camouflage Smocks, the Navy blue shirts, Sky blue shirts, white jersey; etc.

Great vid! I am from Australia and after I finish Uni (College) I hope to apply to become a supply officer in Royan Australian Navy.

Sounds very similar to my job as an Army Support Operations Officer. Thanks for posting this.

I spent 7 years in the NAVY on subs got out as a IC2 (SS) and I seen at one spot the chief was looking in sailors bunks if they did that on any of my boats thew would have hit a mouse trap that is a invasion of privacy. Maybe they do things different on aircraft carriers . I was on 4 boats e boomers and 1 fast attack. I got out with a full honorable discharge. I went to several ports including port chester England. I got out when the politics got bad about Nuclear power .
is it possible for me to become an officer if i got my bachelors degree in europe?will that be valid?

@tyleeaang Do not quote me on this, but I think as long as you are a US citizen AND you qualify to be accepted, I'm fairly certain you can apply to Officer Candidate School (OCS). If not, the Navy has a number of programs you could apply for to become an officer. You just may have to enlist first. Thanks for taking the time to watch.

Interesting vid. I serve on HST and just returned from cruise. I think it would also be interesting to see you follow a junior enlisted Sailor for a week or two.

@VZRingo Hey, thanks for watching. That is an excellent idea. Maybe someday NAVSUP will allow us to do another one of these type of projects. We have an prior enlisted guy on our staff. Served aboard carriers. If you're ever in DC between now and March, you should stop by the Navy memorial and check out this video in its' entirety on a big screen. Thanks again.
