i erased those fans from my gainward 275 gtx and put 2 x 92mm fans on the heatsink, now i get 2 ºC less and they're not loud at all.

you think that video card has fan noise get a Ati HD 3800 and let it overclock and then you get noise

IT's big as my GPU !!! but mine has only one cooler... that's pretty quiet... mine is FUCKING NOISY !!! 36 dB

Yeah I originally was gonna do it too...deck it with cathodes and what not but after research WAY to much work for me.

Trust me those are not that cool. They look good but dust becomes a eye sore. You will spend a LOT of time cleaning it.

I love the GTX 275!!!- I have the Gigabyte GTX 275 OC and i literally just scored 15,024 in Vantage! It kicks so much ass!

i love the 4870 and 4890 standard cooler noise its like the jet plane's engine, nice.
actually what i di once without knowledge i've cut the fan controler cables the yellow and blue cables and left red and black cables for power, no one could fall asleeep at night at home, only i got used to it, cause too many downlads.,

I hv the same card, on its auto 40% speed its pretty ok, but once its more than 40 its definitely noisy..13.5K P score on Vantage
