Holy fuck. What did I just run into? I've never heard anything more amazing in my life. Shit's got me crying....I need her album or whatever it is she has....this is something you don't run into every day. Quite a rare find. I've been blown away. She's spectacular.

@caparole music has no color i mean music is colorful but u kno what i mean. rock music in its core is essentially black music.

@FrankovitchBruce It was on the Great American Song Book that BBC 4 broadcast not so very long ago.

I remember being very wary of watching this on the telly, cos I thought I'd hate it for some reason.... so glad I was wrong! I saw the concert in Liverpool a few months later and Krystle had got the words down, but for me this performance is so much more powerful... Love.

@hannahmwalsh I think quite a lot of people have an attachment to the originals that perhaps gets in the way. Many ( not all) bring a new light to the work and make them shine. i'd have to say a few performances did not work quite so well
