I purchased like 8 sample pigments and they are NOT the same I tried to press them and they did not work. They would not solidifiy and when they finally did dry it was still n powder form I also pressed my MAC pigs the same day and they turned out perfect. So yea I kno the feeling...

i heard that some of the real mac pigments are kind of different in consistancy.....that some were chunky and some were thin...so yeaa! lol....i just wouldnt trust online sites like that..lol =]

Sorry to hear you got fakes, I did too awhile back from them. Someone had warned me but I didnt listen:(

The only person I buy my samples from is Cheryls Shiny Eyes. I bought from her years ago when she was on ebay but lost touch. Thankfully I found her in a makeup forum group. All of her stuff is authentic MAC, has many choices and will show receipts if you ask. I get huge samples from her, she sells large 1/2 tsp but gives much more on some. My last order 1/2 of them had 5/8-3/4 tsp:)

Ok I just ordered 10 pigments from them and now you got me thinking! I compared and swatched my Mac Basic Red sample from The Body Needs with my Coastal Scents palette I noticed the Coastal Scents is more pigmented....hmmmmmm.
