Found some speakers on the side of the road, used silicone to repair them. They sound great and I find that they can be turned up loud no problem. Excuse the poor quality video shot on a cheap mobilephone , I wuz in a hurry :)

@jsmc84 Hi - you try to keep as much old foam on as possible. I guess I should have said that if ALL the foam is perished then the silicon repair trick might not work. The other day I did this trick to another set of speakers, and about half of the foam was still good. If they are headed for the bin anyway you could try this. I dab spots of silicon, rather than run silicon along the whole part where it has torn. Thanks for looking! Stephen
