Dozens rallied on the steps of Saint Sabina on Wednesday -- calling for Father Pfleger's reinstatement.NATS UP: Pfleger was suspended earlier this week by Cardinal Francis George -- the head of the Chicago Archdiocese. Pfleger's suspension is immediate and a spokesman for the archdiocese says it will probably last two weeks. I am sure Fr. Pfleger is a decent man who cares for his flock , helps the poor, etc. etc. But he is a heretic and is leading his flock away from the Church, and therefore leading them away from Christ. He is in need of our prayers, and a new job. For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

The scandal is that this heretic was ordained, that he wore a Roman collar and celebrated Mass. Pfleger must be excommunicated. We need priests that are Roman, Catholic, apostolic pastors, not the kind that partake in the false pronouncements of Jeremiah Wright and Louis Farrakhan. Faith in Christ Jesus demonstrated by obedience to the Word of God, the Magisterium of Holy Mother Church and the Holy Pontiff must be required of every priest. Pfleger exemplifies why priests need close supervision.
