How do you get such good quality? I'm using component cables and everything and it doesn't look anywhere near as good, and it is a recording on top of it!

It's probably because of the capture card, buy a better one.

Oops, I reread my post. I can't even get this good of quality on my HDTV, I meant. I don't even own a capture card. I know the Wii doesn't do 720p/1080p, but your videos look pretty darn good. I'm just disappointed at the picture quality on my TV with component cables.

Some filters are used to improve the quality.

MKWii videos are upscaled to 1280×720 to be compatible with Youtube HD.

I'm still pretty sure that the thing that affects the most video quality is the capture card you're using.

It's sub 1:30, not 1:29. A sub 1:29= 1:28:999 or faster.
