amazing genius icon i adore since childhood

Leonid Kogan, my lyubimi skripatch, obviously gets a lot of attention here, but let's also take a moment to thank Niccolo Paganini for this bliss of a composition.

I think this is the best recording. It's slightly bouncier and more colourful overall, I feel, than most of the other recordings. Even though there aren't as many recordings of the Pagannini Concerti as there should be.

@assindiastignani meant to say *Kogan

@assindiastignani Kohan's Waxman "Carmen Fantasy" is yet another testament to how incredibly amazing he is, and yet somehow, this is even better
-
Listen to his version of Waxman's "Carmen Fantasy." It's staggering.

it is just superb i agree
The chain of double-stop+ricoche passages starting at 0:51 will always be my favorite part of this concert!
