I just got my 16 GB Micro SD card with standard-size adapter for $9.99 at Fry Electronics, why is this dude talking about backup technology that was popular back in 1999, you can't even find an Iomega Zip Drive thru retail chains anymore!
Expert Exchange needs to get their Dinosaur asses out of the past and update some of thier content, this guys a fucktard if he expects us to use floppy disks and zip drives for backups. Besides, I don't take computer advice from bodybuilders, just nerdy geeks.

Good 'ole Zip Drives. I loved those beauties back in the day. You should point out that most modern computers can transfer data via a simple (and extremely cheap) usb flash drive/card. Capacity on those suckers are far greater than the 100MB or 200MB limitation of the venerable ZIP disk.
holy crap batman a 3 1/2 floppy O.o

Zip drives are old school technology. And so is 3 1/2 floppy. Most computer today come with cd rom drives and dvd roms. All computers have come with that for some time and the days of floppies and zip drives are gone
