...you're able to break out of that kind of thinking it will do you a lot of good. Plus when you do genuinely good things for other people, you'll find that good things come to you too. And also work on your coping skills for dealing with the really tough times...try writing down how you feel, learn some yoga or meditation exercises, or just pick up you guitar and play it out (that's what i do). I myself tend to struggle with depression, and these things really help me.

...small opportunity in your day-to-day life to help somebody else in some way. Give a homeless person a sandwich, give up you seat for and old person on the bus, help somebody change a flat tire...whatever. Keep doing these deeds of service and it will go a long way toward improving your self image. With all this drinking and drug use, you're just focusing on yourself and it's very hedonistic. i just googled "daniel spinelli heroin" and found a mugshot of this guy, apparently he was arrested for heroin posession 3 days after this was shot
