We use our Rome Waffle Irons to make breakfast in the snow.

  • @Bornwithnofear Sportsman's Warehouse in Mesa Arizona. You can get them on-line or at a number of retail outdoor outlets.

  • could you cook pancakes in a normal pie iron???

  • @bigjohn20081983 There are detailed instructions on the packaging. It is basically wash the wax off of the new iron, heat then coat with oil, let cool then heat and oil again until a good seasoning takes hold. Rome also has a very detailed video on their web site.

  • One of our traditions when we go trailering is to make apple and cherry pies with the Rome Jaffle iron. I think having waffles for breakfast or supper could become a new tradition.
