Last weekend I played an exciting show at the August Wilson Center. It was an event to honor Chuck Cooper, the first African American to be drafted into the NBA.

I had a chance to open the music portion of the event followed by stellar performance by a myriad of Pittsburgh's favorite jazz masters (including Sean Jones). International act, Dwele, was the featured performer for the night. He had an excellent set.
