@TALEROSS Argentina wants to make them a colony disregarding international law and the self determination of the islanders. Argentina was built on the colonisation of land against the wishes of the inhabitants so it no wonder they think they can keep on doing it. Problem is this time the inhabitants are British and can defend themselves instead of unarmed natives.

Argentina wont ever win them because they cant fight. Stick to football.

@badbrainaj true? technicians from its french makers had helped the argies fit exocet, though it is unclear if the french government, which told britain they had not been fitted,knew this.

@badbrainaj As we sold bombs to them too. But the French not only explained counter measures but they also trained our pilots and refused to sell any more. France supported us 100% against the Argentinian imperialists.

@badbrainaj That is how things work in the arms trade. For example, apparently our SBS had helped train Argentine Marines a few years before the war too...

So just like the UK didn't know Argentina would invade the Falklands, nor did France know they would attack either. France did help prevent further sales after the outbreak though.
