Invisible or concealed zips are wonderfully easy to insert - when you know now. This type of zip has the teeth on the underside so that when sewn in place, to the seam allowance only, all that shows from the right side is a dainty zipper pull! A favourite method of Wendy Gardiner (www.isew.co.uk), she shows that by using an invisible zip foot, the insertion is easy and virtually invisible just as it should be.
I discovered with all of these videos is what you can't get from one you can get from the other.I like this video because she explained why I have to change zipper feet. How to make my seam allowance so that I can put my zipper on it. So I've combined the tutorials I've watched and now I get it. So I can give them a break. It's not like everyone was made to be in front of a camera. HA! I appreciate them making them.

This would have been a really great tutorial but it needs close ups of the zip foot and installing and sewing. Maybe it's my eyesight but I needed to see in detail and couldn't so unfortunately it hasn't really helped.
Shame

what a terrible video!!! None of the demonstration done by the woman were seen closely, so may as well she could have just talked and save the sewing!!!
