JonasBrotherSeries Chapter 24

Nick sat on his bed thinking about Sierra and Mikaela and everything that happened the past week. He knew she was the right one, but what could he do? An idea hit him and he jumped off of his bed and went to get ready.

Joe and Lizzie were sitting on a bench outside the building Joe was about to perform in. Joe turned to her and started singing "Love Bug" and Lizzie giggled. Kevin walked out of the building and yelled "Sound Check!". Joe stood up and kissed Lizzie and walked in the building. Elizabeth sighed and got ready to go to the concert.

Sound check went great and Nick and Joe went on stage followed by Kevin. The crowd went crazy and Nick waved out into the crowd. He looked through each person in the audience until he found Sierra. She was here! His plan had a chance! He smiled to her but she looked down. She was still upset. But not mad. He had a chance. Joe talked to the crowd for a minute and then they started to play.

Joe: This song is called, "Kids of the Future!"

After the band finished that song Nick looked to Sierra as he started to play "Lovebug". Sierra couldn't but smile a little as he stared at her and sang. She knew he wasn't lying about everything, but she still wasn't sure about it all. After Lovebug finished, Nick went to the piano and started playing.

Nick: "When you look me in the eyes, I catch a glimpse of heaven. Everything's all right, 'cause you're right here by my side. When you look me in the eyes, I know that's it's forever, I just gotta let you know. I never want to let you go."

They finished the song and after two more, Kevin played a note and Nick froze. He knew what they were about to play. At the time of the set choice, Nick had been mad. It was before Mikaela, right after the fight. He had to stop the band from playing "One Man Show." He leaned over to Nick and told him they couldn't play it. Joe motioned to the band that they had to stop and the crowd started to whisper around. The band went backstage after Joe told the audience they were having technical difficulties.

Joe: What's up?
Nick: We can't play that song.
Kevin: Why? You chose it.
Nick: Sierra is in the audience. I'm trying to get her back but I can't play One Man Show. She'll think I'm mad at her or something for not accepting my apology.
Joe: You apologized? Good for you! Finally!
Kevin: We have to choose something else then.
Drummer: What about Australia?
Nick: That's almost worse.
Joe: How about....Year 3000?
Kevin: Ah perfect.
Nick: Alright. Then Live to Party and we're done.
Joe: Alright let's go.

The band walked back out and the audience screamed and cheered. Sierra smiled but when Nick met her eyes she looked back down. She knew what he was trying. But how could she take him back after all the heartbreak?

Joe: We thought we should take you guys....

The crowd cheered.

Joe: To the Year 3000!

The audience screamed and the band played. After playing Year 3000 they started their last song.

Nick: You gotta live to party, bust your move, everybody's in the groove, tell the DJ play my song. Are you ready to Rock N Roll?

Nick: I drove her home and then whispered in my ear, the party doesn't have to end. We can dance here.

Joe: Live to party bust your move, everybody's in the groove, Tell the DJ play my song, are you ready to rock n roll?

They continued and finally finished the song. At the last note confetti fell and the Jonas' left he stage after their signature finish. Backstage, the three girls came up to them and Nikki and Lizzie told them how great they were. But Sierra folded her arms and looked down, sadness still lurking in her eyes. Nick pulled her into another room.

Nick: What's wrong?
Sierra: Nick, please...you promised.
Nick: I promised I would hold you or kiss you. I never said I wouldn't talk to you.
Sierra: Just...I miss...*sigh* I miss running up to you after every concert.
Nick: You still can. Sierra, I miss you too, but you're the one who's making the decision. It's your choice.
Sierra: But you just broke up with Mikaela. I don't want to be a second choice.
Nick: Is that what this is about? Sierra, you were my first choice. You always will be. I'm glad Mikaela dumped me. I hated seeing you upset that day you found out.
Sierra: Then why'd you date her?
Nick: I was mad. I made a dumb mistake.
Sierra: Yeah, you did. *smiles*
Nick: So will you please accept my apology?
Sierra: *stares down and finally nods* Yeah,I forgive you, Nick.
Nick: So are we..?
Sierra: You tell me. *kisses him and throws her arms around him* I'm so sorry, Nick. I should have forgiven you when you gave me the flowers. I should have never broken us up in the first place.
Nick: I'm sorry too. So I guess you read the card?
Sierra: *steps back* Yep. I loved it.
Nick: It was the perfect song huh?
Sierra: Better than one man show.
Nick: Yeah. *smiles* I love you Sierra.
Sierra: I love you too Nick.
