I must say , I am torn , I love rats ! I have three pet rats they are the greatest creatures in the world, But feral rats need to be killed (humanly) I strongly disagree with drowning them and possibly sending the mother in law round but shooting or kill with a shovel needs to be done. As for rats have only one way to threaten your health with its urine and feces well thats just wrong, Although any animal , certainly the rat needs to be respected. I have just bought myself one of these traps.

Shoot them, smash them, trap them, poison them, burn them, drown them, set the cat on them, set the dog on them, set the cat AND the dog on them, run em over, run em through, blow them up, scare them to death, threaten them with violence, take a hit out on them, send them poison pen letters, tip them off to the IRS, send the mother in law around to deal with them………. Rats do not have the same fuckwit emotions as you, they will eat you given the chance, If hungry they will kill and eat other rats, even their own offspring. They don’t have sentiment, grief or anything nearly resembling humanity. They are pure bred vermin, and they need controlling.

Okay, tell you what, you keep saving the flea ridded disease carrying vermin, and “we” in the real world will do what we have to do. I’m sure your “wild rat” hasn’t been a problem, but try living on a farm where the little bastards are out breeding everything else!... rats are good for one thing only.. laboratory experiments!
