Hurricane Irene - Woodbridge, VA

This video was uploaded from an Android phone. I wish I had night vision function on my phone so you could see what I was seeing. The wind was blowing pretty hard and there was a really odd color in the sky for being 11 at night... From what the Weather Channel and our local stations were saying, and from reading about casualties and damage from other areas, I was expecting something a little scarier. Thankfully, all we've gotten so far is little more than a blustery thunderstorm.
My heart goes out to the families and friends of those who lost their lives, and anyone who have lost their homes from damage, in Irene's wake. I hope everyone else in the path of the storm stays safe.

Hey, thanks for posting that video. Ignore the dorks who dislike your post, because they're probably looking for Hollywood special effects. And, your boyfriend in the background gives your post some comedic value -- too bad it was really immature and lame. There are plenty of people like me out around the internet who appreciate a little insight into what the experience was like.
