whats the main goal of skyblock? i dont get it... reaching the ground maybe!?

@SimpleGamerz so when you dont do anything that lets mobs spawn like building platforms and forgetting torches you'll survive anyhow... how about trying to reach the ground one day just to have a look? how far in the sky can it be? 128, 256 blocks?

@cybie04 no, the point of skyblock is to survive, you start with a small block in the sky with 1 tree 1 block of ice and water, there is no ground all that is on this map is the island you start with, all you do is survive it, there are challenges like get weat make a mob trap and stuff.!

@SimpleGamerz so taking this into account, how did you manage to get melons at all?

@cybie04 There is another 3x3 island, its a new part of the survivle map, made from sand with a chest in with 1 melon slice, and a few obsidion.

@SimpleGamerz ah i see, guess it was about the same with the catus, the dirt and the lava blocks? well, sounds kinda interesting to navigate 'into the blue' of the sky...

build a rail near the spawning place only about 4 blocks so they cant knock you off.
