Alan Merrill, Automatic Pilot & Rock N Roll Part 2

Alan Merrill, performing his 1972 composotion, the hit single "Automatic Pilot", this time in English as it was originally written (the tune was first released in the Japanese language), and then the song segues into the Glitter hit Rock N Roll Part 2. Alan Merrill on lead vocals, Peter Phipps of the Glitter band on drums, Dave Glover of BCSweet on bass and Jan Tilley of the Ronnie Spector band on guitar. Pete Phipps was the drummer of the Glitter band's hit "Rock N Roll Part 2" and a founding member of that group, for those curious. This unit is an interesting potpourri mix of UK glam era band members.
Alan Merrill was the lead singer of UK hitmakers and TV hosts The Arrows in the seventies.
This version of Automatic Pilot appeared on the Alan Merrill solo album Cupid Deranged.
