@animecutie46 Also if you want a 100% happy ending version: Kiss in the Galaxy is the Third, Kawamori approved, verse to stand between Movie and TV series. He endorsed it fully. It's an AU shoujo manga with Sheryl as protagonist. Kinda trippy but the art is pretty.

The story ends with everyone (but Grace, who is a mind controlled good guy like in the movieverse) alive (including Michel and Brera-he dies in the movie-). Alto/Sheryl hinted wedding and maybe Brera/Ranka's!

@animecutie46 Yes. But he disappeared after, folded with the Vajra Queen... Whether he returns or not (as Sheryl awakes from her coma) like Ranka predicted is up to you. It's one of those Escaflowne typical bittersweet endings Kawamori likes, but more hopeful. There is a picture in Sheryl's Visual guide they are happily reunited (lmao she's naked and he's only wearing a robe).

Good choice of song. Bad ending. You didn't really cut scenes, it's just, mostly, in one episode.
