Helicopters? Keep your hand on the collective control lever, whatever you do, and before check your rear rotor before you take off - if it fails, it will be doom for you, or a bumpy landing, going round like a fast clock!

Am an RAF trained flight system technician, and worked on Sea King search and rescue latest control system for a company since, and other things, Merlin helicopter test control system and etc.. So I know what you were saying about ailerons - I am just a very very dirty old man, that is all! : )
