U need external sound card for vestax vci-100, if u wanna use headphones. With mixer u won't do anyhing, because u need two audio outputs from laptop - one for deck a, and one for deck b

if u wonna cue (prelisten) or beatmatch u need soundcard but u can get VCI 300 and it has soundcard in it but better get Mixer + vci 100 and external soundcard or if u have mixer i think u dont need soundcard then :)
