We are investigative journalists, we along with volunteers are investigating cases of voter fraud across the state of California. We have hidden cameras and we have the investigative know how. If you are committing voter fraud we will find you and expose you.
In 2002 Dean Gardner lost his election against Nicole Para by a narrow margin. Dean and his wife Ruth launched a $50,000 investigation of voter fraud in their district.
What they found was over 1/3 of the votes cast for Nicole Para that they investigated were fraudulent. During the investigation, they found a thrift store that had 70 people registered to vote, almost all Democrats.
Throughout these investigations we are doing across California we are noticing a pattern of abuse against the most vulnerable people in our society.
It is clear they are taking advantage of the homeless and the needy. The very people they claim they are trying to help they are taking advantage of for just a few more vote for their candidate.
The right to vote is the most fundamental tenants of any democracy. The fact that these people would violate that institution is very serious and that is why the California election law recognizes it as a felony.
The crime they are committing is fraud, if you knowingly put any false information on a voter registration form then the election law says you are committing fraud. The election law states that you have to be registered to vote out of a permanent residence.
@Sheldonwh I think it means that Democrats are homeless losers. They shop at thrift stores because they are poor and don't have jobs.

Aha ha ha ha ha!!! She totally got you in the end. The "interviewers" shrug near the end when she lists all the things he lied about is hilarious. He looks like a little boy who's just been told off.

FYI to readers who are not local and heard of this on the radio. The law across the U.S. is as follows "To ensure homeless voters get registered, they can use the address of a relative's home, or the shelter, church or soup kitchen they frequent." If these guys had recorded me without my recorded permission I would have a lawyer by now. I can afford it and it might help stop some of these baseless attacks on someones character without doing their homework first.

@annielwhite What, exactly, do you think they're getting away with? Some technicality about putting the address in the wrong place? Big deal! If you're honest with yourself, your complaint is simply that 37 homeless people got to vote for Democrats.

@timoteo001 The thing that cracks me up about this is that the subtle message here is, "We have to stop homeless people from registering to vote because they know we Republicans aren't gonna do a DAMN thing to help them, so they'll all vote for Democrats!" This kid is just trying to get famous like that little prick from the so-called ACORN scandal that turned out to be A COMPLETE LIE! But, I'm sure Fox "News" didn't air that part of the story, so Bakersfieldians never saw that it was a lie.

If those 37 (or 36?) people were all registered to vote for a Republican, this little squirt wouldn't be down there harassing this poor woman who's just trying to do her job. Back in Bakersfield, to call someone a "liberal" is the same as calling her a Communist or a Devil Worshiper, so this is nothing but a smear campaign. It's pretty obvious that a majority of the voter fraud is happening on the REPUBLICAN side. Remember the ACORN scandal that turned out to be a COMPLETE LIE?

I can understand how SOME of them put this address down as mailing AND residence... but alll of them? Even I at one time have put "Homeless" in the address portion of a form at one time. I was floating from friends couch to couch. Are you telling me that every single person put the same exact thing for mailing AND physical address? Something doesn't seem right. By the way, I heard about this video on the radio! :)

This video is flat out stupid. I'm sorry, but asking a semi educated woman who clearly is shocked by the questions these guys are asking, it's a clear sign she has no idea what's going on. In fact, if she had anything to hide, she would had kicked them out of the place as soon as the first political question was brought.
These clowns need to do a bit more research before going forward with this type of questionnaire.

You are an idiot - why would a homeless person register to vote for the republicans?
