If you are like me, you just can't get enough tailing Red Fish. Tonight was very windy and the tide got a little too deep which made conditions tough. However, I hooked and broke off a fish and then landed one after that. The break off was my fault for not checking the knot. I had landed about 4 or 5 fish (previously) on the fly with out re-tying and that cost me a nice fish. So what do you do? Tie on another one and keep fishing. Watch real close when the second fish strikes. You can actually see him come out of the water to take the fly just below the surface.

  • Carter, I'd be interested in your opinion of that Waterworks-Lamson reel you use in the trout vids ... been looking for a nice click-pawl.
