do you have favorite woofers? - for 12" coupler and US speaker I'd expect a Kappa 12A to do well. Fostex FE206EN works well within its limits. A slotted waveguide can sound very good. Have you tried an open end Karlson waveguide tweeter? Best wishes, Freddy

Karlson couplers work very well. The original K12 with a strong motor 12" woofer and slotted waveguide has better definition than a La Scala clone. Tell me about your Karlson -type enclosures. BEST, Freddy
