1958 cadillac pulling a 1957 Airstream Overlander travel trailer.
Why submit to what "they" say style is?
Let's not make changes, let's make improvements..... wally byam founder of Airstream corp.
Cadillac has original 365 90 degree, 10:1 compression V8, only rebuild.
The receiving hitch is a universal RV hitch, since the frame rails are so wide apart. They used to pull them in the 1950's with just a bumber hitch if you can belive that.
I have air adjustible shocks on the rear of the car.
the camper is original and i'm the 3 owner, roof top a/c, electrial upgrades, and radial tires.
This was a 1957 with dual axel option, I wanted the two extra tires on the trailer for tracking, and for the extra braking power.
toung weight is only 300 lbs on the car, and the whole trailer is 3,500 lbs, light comparied to new box trailers weighting 8,000.lbs
