http://www.DadLabs.com - When it comes to family game night, which do you prefer as a parent, video games or board games? We put this question to the crowd of experienced parents gathered at Freddie's Place in Austin, Texas. Some prefer video game consoles like Wii, Xbox, or Playstation to interact with the kids. Others use a board game for family fun. Let us know what you think: do you prefer to come together over game pieces or pixels? DadLabs Ep. 330 The Lounge. Brought to you by Fundex Games.

  • My mom babysat yesterday. I came home to find the whole group around a board game. I find that for spontaneous game time, I go for the Wii because it seems like less of a time commitment.

  • "Better than losing is just walking away from the game"

    ...

    Rage quit?

  • @gameex1 That's not accurate, you are comparing modern video games with OLD board games. If you want to compare mw, halo or battlefield you should compare those to MODERN board games like Combat Commander, Memoir 44, Cosmic Encounter, etc. Otherwise it's like comparing Dominion to Tetris.

  • mw3 vs monopoly, halo vs twister, battlefield 3 vs battleship ain't it obvious video games will and always pwn board games you wanna know why they called board games it's because you get bored playing it

  • Where do you think the Board in board games come from??

  • OH I KNOW, VIDEO GAMES ARE DIGITAL!!! :D

  • i remember i would ask my dad to get a wii and he would say no. thank goodness he said no because kinect came out and i play it with my whole family.

  • video games teach life morals, hand-eye cordination, and reflexes when things come to attack

  • god owen is the man he does understand video games
