Great. It took over 20 years to get that "TIC TIC TIC TIC TIC TAC TOE's" jingle out of my head and now it's back in there. :P

I used to always sing those "after these messages we'll be right back" had such a tone to it, one of those things you just have to start humming.

You're welcome...hope things get better for you.
People can be very critical, so it's no surprise you'd be mocked for something like looking into the past (which is hypocritical since we all seem to do it at some time or another). As for faith, I stand the same as you (though I lean atheist). But whether a god exists or not doesn't mean there's no form of consciousness after death (I've heard some good arguments that support a secular afterlife & reincarnation).

Thanks for the comments. Some say that it is a weakness, being pathetic or similar looking into the past. But for some reason I've always been nostalgic of the good old days; even to date. I was raised catholic, but lately I have been questioning faith; after being exposed to other beliefs and seeing how my mom was in her last days. I wouldn't consider myself atheist, but skeptic. So I don't know if I will ever again see her to apologize.

You know it's the late 80s when the "computer course" includes a 5 1/2 inch disk!!

@80sCommercialVault Thanks for letting me know. I didn't remember it. I mostly just remember the X-Men cartoon from those years, and the Batman animated series. I just remember the movie being such gallows humor, it's strange to see it translated to a Saturday morning cartoon.

"Taste that rocks my face"? Is that all they came up with?

LITTLE CLOWNS OF HAPPY TOWN!!! No one remembers this show? I used to have ABC Saturday Mornings on VHS, but my stupid sister chucked them!! Great memories

Wow... was that Adam Sandler doing the voiceover on that promo for "College Football Showdown At High Noon???" LOL!
Beetlejuice was a very adult movie - I'm not too surprised the cartoon version wasn't a hit.
I'm surprised the Popeye people let them do a commercial where he isn't interested in spinach, since it's a big part of the character's brand.
I remember those Robocop commercials.

@CarlD2 The Beetlejuce cartoon WAS a hit. It aired for four seasons on ABC and beginning in 1991 ran on the Fox Kids afternoon lineup...making it one of the few shows to air on two networks concurrently. I wasn't a big fan of it, but it was very popular during the early-mid 90's.
