These children are very special. I have worked with them and fell in love with each child I was blessed to work with. Check out my video, "Autism the Blessing", it might help you. Bless you for bringing into the world another very special person.

Beautiful, I'm sure many families and children in pain can relate. We sure can!

It's not his fault he has autism.
I know this girl cassidy with autism.
She facinates me, she's a very talented
softball player and she's only 9.
She lives down the street with me and
she suprises me everyday with how much
she has accomplished.
your son is very cute(:

He is a beautiful little boy, and I am happy that he has made so much progress. But understand that autism is a part of who he is. Don't pray for a cure, pray for acceptance from other people. Autism is the beauty in the world. :)

This brought tears to my eyes. Your words just dig right through me. We are going through an ....ism diagnosis right now. Results on Friday. This ordeal has nearly tore our family apart several times, many inconsolable tears. Sometimes I wonder if there really is an all-powerful / loving / knowing God. If so, who would let this happen to children? Then I come across stories like this where special needs children are placed in caring hands ... now I have no doubt.

To Jakie: Hang in there, brother! I am autistic mild, here myself, so I feel your pain. Don't let the world poop on you and try your best to listen to mom and dad, I know its seems like bullpoop alot of times, but there is some truth in what they tell you, if it seems like poop, it isn't all poop, you just gotta DIG IT OUT to understand it, I know its dang impossible sometimes, but dude, better late than never. GOOD LUCK BROTHER!

Wow... this brought tears to my eyes... your story and pictures resemble my family so much. My son who has autism is 6 1/2. God Bless you and your family

Just wondering how Jacob went from severe to mild autism....what were the interventions that helped him? From the pictures he looks just like any other child...happy, going to school, etc. God bless your family.

Hello, Thanks for looking!
We got Jacob early intervention with ABA therapy that saved both of our lives. He made AMAZING improvements but was very tough on the entire family during the first stage of the process. I am so grateful we stumbled upon it and it worked so so so well. He went from ONLY screaming to now being able to talk in full sentences and in a typical 2 grade classroom.
